Beckie Murray

Beckie D. Murray, age 62 of Nashua, Iowa died Monday, November 2, 2020, at her home in Nashua. A private family service will take place at a later date. Beckie Dawn Murray was born on October 26, 1958, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Don and Elizabeth (Duhn) Murray. She attended schools in Cedar Falls and continued her education at Hawkeye Community College completing her Associate’s Degree. Beckie met Jeff Berends on an online dating service in 2002, and a few conversations lead to a few dates, which blossomed into a relationship with many fun experiences and memories together. Beckie loved knitting and crocheting and had a passion and love for her cat named Kandie. Beckie was a very giving and compassionate person that was always willing to help a person in need. Beckie is survived by her significant other, Jeff Berends; two sons, Tim (Dena) Gruver, Jeremiah Gruver; ten grandchildren; one brother, Virgil (Nel) Murray; one sister, Donna Murray.
