Visitation continues an hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Her very first adventure began on January 23, 1982 when she was born during a blizzard in New Hampton, IA. She was born only ten minutes after her parents arrived at the hospital. Andrea graduated from New Hampton High School, Class of 2000. She graduated with an associates degree from North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in Mason City, IA in 2002. She transferred to Western Illinois University (WIU) in Macomb, IL and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelors degree in Broadcasting and Communications in 2004. During her time at WIU, Andrea was very active in her sorority Sigma Kappa. She became involved with the South Florida Sigma Kappa alumnae group where she installed and advised a brand new Sigma Kappa chapter at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, FL. Andrea worked at several radio stations showcasing her talent as both a radio personality and in promotions during her time at NIACC, WIU and continued the first few years she lived in Florida. In 2006, Andrea started her career at the Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center. She began in catering and event management where she came up with the most amazing menus and food options. She transitioned to sales manager in 2014, where she assisted clients in coordinating events at the convention center. First Descents (FD) renewed and enhanced Andrea’s passion for adventure and life. Andrea was introduced to FD by her friend Jada. She’s been Slip Stitch ever since. She learned to skate board, surf and white water raft, completed 100 mile bike rides, Ragnar races and took an adventure to New Zealand. Andrea was an avid bike rider and loved riding on A1A with her close friends. She enjoyed running, challenging herself with Triathlons, and participating in RAGBRAI to honor her late brother Adam Liddle. Andrea had an adventure to find a Church she called home; she found a place to strengthen her faith and grow her spirituality. Andrea was an active and dedicated member of City Church Fort Lauderdale. Andrea‘s laughter was contagious and filled the room! When she wasn’t collecting autographs or going back stage at various rock concerts, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her parents, Sally (Dean) Liddle and Gale Erion (Kym Olson); her siblings, Chrissy (Bill) Sellon, Shelly Erion, Alicia (Chris) Grimm, Nicholas (Amber) Erion, Janelle Erion (Russell Willett); sister-in-law, Sue Liddle; her grandmothers, Leola Erion and Ellen Liddle; her nieces and nephews, Devon, Gavin, Ellie, Hudson, Aria and Finn; her roommate/best friend, Kelly Hardee, her fur baby, Bettie Page; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 7. Sally, Dean and family, Have been reading about your amazing daughter Andrea. What a fighter she was. Cannot imagine what she went through while keeping such a positive attitude. May God give you peace and beautiful memories of the beautiful daughter you raised. Our condolences to all of you. Deb and Roger Lantzky

  8. Sally, since we met under the circumstances that we did, I only knew your daughter through your eyes. I saw a glimpse into her life as I watched the video she created. It is easy to see what an amazing person she was and how she lived her life with passion. 😉 I wish I had the opportunity to know her, I saw her once, wrapped up in a pink blanket and wondered about the journey she was on, it saddened me, even though at the time I didn’t know her history, or that I would meet you soon. May time ease the pain of those moments so they become a distant memory and be replaced by the wonderful memories of her life. Please reach out to me when you are ready. I know it’s very difficult right now, it doesn’t get any easier, as you know, but I’m here for you when you are. With love, Miriam

  9. You were an amazing person who has inspired many people. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends..

  10. My sympathy to Andrea’s family, it is so difficult to lose a child even if they have grown up and moved on. She was a lovely young person and I imagine grew to be a wonderful adult.

  11. Gale,we are so sorry for your loss. Deepest sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
