Amelia Marie Schwickerath, the daughter of Joshua and Emily Schwickerath, was born an angel on May 26, 2021 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton with Rev. Kevin Frey celebrating the service. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in New Hampton. Visitation continues an hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Amelia Marie now rests in Jesus' arms in heaven. Amelia is loved by her parents, Joshua and Emily Schwickerath of New Hampton, IA; one brother, Charlie Schwickerath of New Hampton, IA; one sister, Scarlett Schwickerath of New Hampton, IA; paternal grandparents, Jim and Carol Schwickerath of New Hampton, IA; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Sue Thoms of Fayette, IA; paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Rose Starr of Charles City, IA; maternal great-grandparents, Maribeth Penningroth of Fayette, IA, Fred and Mary Thoms of Fayette, IA; two aunts, Jessica (Landon) Moore of Tripoli, IA and Hanna (Trenton) Conger of Ollie, IA; two uncles, Tyler (Lauren) Thoms of Fayette, IA and Derek (Vanessa Wessels) Thoms of Johnston, IA; cousins, Paxton and Sutton Thoms, Henry and Hattie Moore, Beau Conger. Amelia joins in heaven, one aunt, April Thoms; paternal great-grandparents, Virgil and Dolly Schwickerath; maternal great-grandfather Gary Penningroth.
