  2. Tom Burnett Sr and the Burnett family purchased the Full Of Love Bouquet for the family of Rev Linus E. Rasing.

  3. Father Linus was a good man. The Tom Burnett family loved their time with Father Linus. Tom Burnett Sr,Tom Burnett Jr, and Monsignor Slepicka went fishing and played golf with Father. They loved his company and he will be missed by many.

  4. Wishing my sincere sympathy to the Raising family for their loss of a loved one. I got to know Linus real well when we were growing up and the one thing that I recall was the fact he urged me to get a good education and go from there. I’ve always reflected on this during my long teaching career. Father was a good sport and loved to take part in many different activities. He was easy to visit with and will be missed by everyone.

  5. My sympathy to the Rasing Family. Father Linus was a great person. I have many fond memories while growing up with him and his family. An Old Neighbor and Friend, Don Lynch

  6. Lots of memories of the Rasing Family. I attended Fathers ordination in Dubuque. Also served at his 1st Mass at St. Boniface. Tried to keep track as to where he was throughout his Priesthood. Last seen him at a family reunion Mass he helped celebrate at the Lynch pond. Our prayers and sympathy to the family!!!!!!!! Jack-Sharon Lynch

  7. Father Linus grew up in the neighborhood with the Lynch family. I served mass for him the first week after his ordination at St. Boniface in Ionia in 1953. He and Father John Barnes have spent many hours fishing at the pond on our farm. They also said mass at our farm for two of our family reunions which was so special to all of us. Our sympathy to all the Rasing family. We have all lost a very special person. We are so sorry we can’t attend the services as we are in Texas. Duane & Pat Lynch
