Patricia Louise Coil age 71 of New Hampton, IA, died Friday morning, May 28, 2010, at Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo after a 17 month battle with cancer. Memorial visitation will be held 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, New Hampton. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at the New Home General Baptist Church, Lowery, rural Keenes, IL. Friends may greet the family an hour prior to the service at church. Patricia was born April 15, 1939, in Hamilton County, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Jeanetta Alice Louise (Cluck) Crabtree. She was a 1957 graduate of the Mt. Vernon Township High School. On April 6, 1958, in Mt. Vernon, IL, she married Roy Coil at the Central Church of Christ. To this union three children were born. The couple moved to New Hampton in 1986. Survivors include her husband, Roy; one son, Calvin (Regina) Coil of Stuart, IA; two daughters, Kathy Coil and Sherry Frisch, both of New Hampton; one brother, Ronald (Mary Lynne) Crabtree of Mt. Vernon, IL; five grandchildren, Aaron Coil, Casey Coil, Jessica Coil, Kirk Frisch and Tabitha Frisch; three great-grandchildren, Haley Coil, Asher Coil and Logan Coil. She was preceded in death by her parents.

  3. My condolences to the family. I was sorry to hear of ‘Patti’s’ passing. The last time I was able to see Pat was at my Dad’s,( her Uncle Dallas Cluck) funeral 15 years ago. By chance, my Dad died on May 27th in 1995, this date being quite significant already. With prayers from her cousin Glenda

  5. My precious sister, Shirely Ellen Brown, informed me of Pat’s passing. I know the heartache and the blessing of seeing a loved one leave this life. I have to focus on the fact that I know they are with Jesus and I will see them again one day. Friends will come and go but Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. Be at peace as Pat is at peace right now. . .

  6. I graduated with Patsy Jean so I am a Bluford Kid. So sorry about your loss of Pat. I lost my husband before we got our home built here in Mt. Vernon near where he grew up (Camp Ground). My prayers are with your family. Norma
