Mike and I attended High School together. In 8th grade, he was a ‘town’ kid, and I was a ‘country’ kid following the reorganization of the rural Chickasaw County Schools. We participated in band and science club, and I am grateful that our classmate Ray Schneider informed me of your loss. My condolences to you. I am grateful that he will be honored with a military funeral. This is an earned and deserved rite. God speed. Mary (Merfeld) Ramsden Cedar Rapids, Iowa
