  1. We just heard today of Joan’s passing. She was a wonderful and generous neighbor and has been missed in Springfield, Mo. May she rest in peace. Harold and Brenda Lochner

  2. A friend of ours for only two years, but unforgettable, generous, and at Sunday mass- a strong resemblance to Mother Teresa! She also looked like Ginger Rogers. Katherine Hepburn, and Lucille Ball. Joan discovered I enjoy rum with my diet coke, so at Christmas I received not just an ounce or pint, but a gallon of rum! Family and friends can you not see her sitting in heaven with her buddies and angels with her impeccable make-up, the coolest hair style, and her fur coat wrapped around her, having a game of Euchre? I can!! -Kilian & EB

  3. Sorry for your loss of Jim, Jeannie and family…Joan was a beautiful lady inside and out…I enjoyed seeing her at the TCS Masses, and the all the laughs we had. May she rest in peace…AMEN…<3

  4. To the Bohr family – our sympathy is extended to the entire family at this time of your loss of Joan. Our prayers especially for Jim and Jeannie. Thinking about you during this difficult time. Sorry we can’t be there for the services. Take care – Loren and Donna

  5. I will always remember Joan for her kind hospitality to me and two friends who stopped at her home in July, 1972. on our way to Florida. She always had a great welcoming spirit. Now she has been welcomed into heaven. Rest in peace, Joan! Elizabeth Novak Seaver
