Jesse W. Johnson, age 19 of New Hampton, Iowa, died Saturday, August 22, 2015, in an automobile accident. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton with Pastor Kevin Frey presiding. Friends may greet the family 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015, at the Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton. Visitation continues an hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Jesse William Johnson was born December 28, 1995, in New Hampton, IA, the son of Randy and Brenda (Winkelman) Johnson. He received his education in New Hampton and was a 2014 New Hampton High School Graduate. Jesse was a loving son and brother and will be remembered by his family and friends for his beautiful blue eyes and his huge heart. Jesse and his brother, Jared, were more than brothers….they were the best of friends. Jesse is survived by his parents, Randy Johnson of Lawler; Brenda (Matt Beckman) Flugge of New Hampton; one brother, Jared (Ashley Dockendorf) of Elma; one half-sister, Samantha Flugge of New Hampton; one nephew, Beau Johnson of New Hampton; his paternal grandmother, Sharon Johnson of New Hampton; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Lois Winkelman of Charles City; step-father, Darin Flugge of New Hampton; step-sister, Lacey Flugge of New Hampton; step-brother Bryce Flugge of New Hampton; six aunts, Barb (Dave) Snyder of New Hampton; Kathy (Steve) Otto of Charles City, Sandy (Steve) Schmadeke of Clarksville, Janet (Paul) Pickar of Riceville, Darla (Ron) Carpenter of North Washington and Deb Moore of Charles City; five uncles, Steve (Kathy) Johnson of Allen, TX, Ricky (Nicki) Johnson of New Hampton, Bruce (Kay) Winkelman of Charles City, Dale (Tracy) Flugge of Fredericksburg and Dean Flugge of Elma; many cousins and his faithful companion, Daisy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Johnson.
