Charles John Rosonke age 64 of New Hampton, IA, died Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Colonial Manor of Elma.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Holy Family Parish, New Hampton with Rev. Chris  Podhajsky celebrating the Mass. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Hampton.

Friends may greet the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2025, at Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton where there will be a 7:00 p.m. parish scripture service. Visitation continues one hour before the Mass at the church on Saturday.

  1. So sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. I loved it when we had the pharmacy in Liddles. That’s where Charlie and I became friends. Carried on our visits at Fareway. He was always so happy. RIP Charlie, no more suffering or pain🙏🙏💔

  3. I worked with Charlie at Liddles for 4 yrs. He was a real go getter and did just about everything and knew just about everything. Always had a smile. Great guy. He will be missed.

  9. Our sympathy to Charles’s family and friends. What a great guy! We will have fond memories of our trips to Poor Richard’s for pizza, Joe working in the store with him and most of all, his sense of humor. Even through all of his health struggles, he never complained. Rest in peace dear friend.
