Alan "Al" Anderson age 78 of Alden, MN, formerly of New Hampton, IA, died Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at his home. A private family service will be held Monday, July 22, 2019, at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton with interment in the New Hampton City Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Anderson of Alden, MN; three children, Timothy Anderson, Amy Jo Hoherz and Jamie Anderson; five grandchildren, Ben & Will Anderson, Chase, Anton & Logan Hoherz, JD Anderson; one brother, Dick (Coy) Anderson; one sister, Rev. Susan Ingham; two brothers-in-law, Dan (Barb) Hugh, Syd Johnson; his in-laws, Louie (Linda) Hugh, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy & Grace Anderson; grandson, Ethan Hoherz; his mother-in-law, Doris Hugh; brother-in-law, Tom Ingham; sister-in-law, Elaine Johnson;
