Dean James Lynch, age 89, of Nashua, IA, died Monday, September 14, 2026, at Cedar Vale Assisted Living in Nashua surrounded by his family.
Per his wishes, there will be no formal services held at this time. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Hugeback – Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory – Olson Chapel in Nashua has been entrusted with arrangements.
Dean was born on October 1, 1936, son of James and Rose Lynch. On May 4, 1957 he was united in marriage to Virginia Frascht. She preceded him in death on August 1, 1966.
He is survived by two daughters, Deanne (Lynn) Lantow of Nashua and Karen (Larry) Wedeking of Plainfield; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family of Dean, I have known dean all my life from the years on the farm North of Ionia and the times watching TV at his folks that had a TV years ago when we did not have one, so we would go done to there house to watch his Brother Dan play the according on KIMT Mason City. At the times back in the early 50’s dean had a model A and he would give us a ride once in awhile to school At St. Bonfiac in
Ionia. Along with many years and conversations. Also my Brother Bob was in his wedding with he and Virginia, as the ring bearer. May he Rest in Peace.
