Donald “Donnie” Fisher age 78 of Lawler, IA, died Sunday, May 18, 2025, near Spillville, IA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a date to be announced.

  1. Donny and me were great friends. I always met him at Bucky’s in Lawler for a great talk we always had about our time in Vietnam. Donny was a Machine Gunner in the 25th Infantry Division. He was wounded in Battle and received the Purple Heart for his wounds. I received 3 Purple Hearts in Battle too. My Sincere Deepest Sympathy to the Fisher Family. Donny Will Be Greatly Missed. REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER.
