  8. One of the best things about growing up in a small town is that you knew all your friends and classmates’ families. And while when we were kids we might not have thought it was great, looking back, it sure was nice having our friends parents always keeping an eye on us rascals. Each time I read of a parent of a classmate leaving us, it really tugs at the heart strings, and makes me more appreciative each day of the great folks in Fredericksburg. I remember Betty as a classy lady, and always the friendly face when we went to Gambles to pick up something. My thoughts and prayers are with you Pam and your family. Chris O’Connell Crowe Lucas, TX

  9. Joseph “DJ” Poole & Family purchased the Vivid Recollections for the family of Betty J. Niewoehner.

  10. I have very fond memories of visitng Betty with Heather at Gambles! What a wonderful lady! The Niewoehner and Stone/Rochfords are in my thoughts and prayers. Stef Niemann

  11. I will always remember going to Aunt Betty and Uncle Ray’s house to spend time with Pam. It was so fun to get off the farm, stay in town and eat meals with them because Aunt Betty always had milk in a carton and the best brownies ever! I was so happy to visit with her last Saturday and then again Sunday briefly. That lady always had a smile on her face…I would too if I could live with Uncle Ray!! God Bless the whole family, I hope these fond memories help give you comfort. Love, Carol
