Corinne Lucienne Rausch was born January 16, 1958, in Toul, France, the daughter of Monique Laine (Koenigsfeld) and later adopted by Frank Koenigsfeld. Corinne was a military child and moved to Arkansas at four years old. Corinne lived in Georgia, New York, Hawaii, and Germany before moving to New Hampton and Nashua where she graduated from Nashua High School in 1976. The day after graduation, Corinne started work at Winnebago in Forest City. Later, Corinne began working in New Hampton. It was during that time that she met her husband, Tim Rausch. Tim and Corinne were married on December 19, 1981, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Ionia. To this union five children were born: Amy, Dan, Laura, Brady and Evan. Corinne proudly raised her children at home until her family opened Raleigh Hill golf course. Corinne took an active part in starting the business and worked there part time. She was very passionate about Raleigh Hill and enjoyed her time there.
Corinne had a joie de vivre and loved spending time boating on the Mississippi River, gardening, bowling, golfing, playing pool and going for rides in her 1979 Trans Am. Corinne was a talented cook and will be remembered for the many meals she served her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting and often gave crocheted baby blankets as gifts. She had a love for music and attended many live concerts. Corinne loved spending time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays and always made sure to tell them 'Love you more.'
Corinne is survived by her husband of 34 years, Tim of Ionia, IA; two daughters, Amy (Mike) Lockie of New Hampton, IA, Laura Rausch of Iowa City, IA; three sons, Daniel (Sarah Reicks) Rausch of New Hampton, IA, Brady Rausch of Ionia, IA, Evan Rausch of Ionia, IA; one grandson, Avery Throndson of New Hampton; one brother, Bob (Janelle) Koenigsfeld of Hudson, IA; and one sister, Tina Rahlf of Lime Springs, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Monique Koenigsfeld and one brother Donny Koenigsfeld.
This is Jeannine Timp, I was a patient at Covenant Acute Rehab with Corine. After I was sent home, I came back to visit her. I kept forgetting to get her address. Someone gave me her address at the place she was transferred to, but after I left I realized I did not know her last name. So I was going to go back get it, but my Mom got cancer so I left Iowa to be with her. I am still in a lot of pain myself, so it has been hard to keep up. Someone just told me about her passing. She was a lot of fun and I have been missing her. My family brought our cats to visit us in the hospital and they slept in her lap for two hours and even though she was a dog person, she really was tickled by their attention and affection. I was so happy to see her happy. I am sorry for your grief in missing her. You have my families prayers.

Sorry to hear of Corinne’s passing. When Corinne was in her teens she babysat for me and later years we bowled on the same league. She was definitely a fun person to be around and will be greatly missed. God has gained another angel for the great heavenly party.
Please accept my condolences. Corinne and I were cousins and spent some time together as children and we always caught up at family get togethers. But my health hasn’t been the best these past few years and I knew Corinne was struggling, also. But I didn’t know it was this bad and her death has hit me very hard. If it has hit me this hard I can’t even imagine what her family is going through. I will be praying for all of you and keep you in my thoughts. Linda Huffman

So sorry for your loss! Corrine was one of the first people I met when dating Ed! Fun night together riding in Corrine’s Trans Am! She truly was a super fun person to be around! RIP!
I am so saddened to here that Corinne passed. She is relieved of pain and in a better place. That still don’t take away the grief we all feel. I have several great memories of all you and especially Corinne & Tim. We went to state fair and Corinne needed more room as legs were cramped. Dean went to move seat and it went back Corinnes big toe was in the track and it got pinched and nail tore off. Well first stop at fair was First Aid. We were going to stay the night needless to say all motels were full up to Waverly. So we decided the 4 of us would sleep in the Trans Am. When we woke Tim was was stretched out under the car. This is just one of many episodes.
Deepest sympathy to the Rausch family. She was an amazing lady and always smiling.
