Peggy and family, you have my deepest sympathy. I am so sorry to hear about Raymond. What wonderful childhood memories I have when our two families got together — 14 kids destroying everything, but we sure had fun. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I bet that Dad, Maynard Hovey, and Raymond are together again having a cold beer, with Mom making sure they don’t get into too much trouble. My love and prayers to all of you, Debbie Peterson (Iverson) Rochester, MN
Peggy and family, My deepest sympathy on the loss of Raymond. I will always remember him fondly. So many wonderful memories of all years spent with the Anderson family. Raymond was like a dad to me. I spent many hours at the Anderson house and always felt like a part of the family. Our group of girls could always count on Raymond for a full tank of gas in the Buick and some cash for refreshments while ‘cruising the strip.’ Who could not love him for that! I have so many memories that will keep him close to my heart and ALWAYS make me smile. May all the love and prayers bring you comfort in the days ahead. Love to all, Lynne Harris

My heart is heavy. Fredericksburg just lost a great man and a strong supporter of that little community. As my tears flow, I will never forget the time Ray stopped to see me in Fort Dodge when I was a manager at Bonanza Restaurant. He was trucking at the time and went out of his way to stop and see me in my new job. It meant the world to me because I was so homesick! Ray had a heart of gold! My condolences to all his children, grandchildren, and to his wonderful wife Peggy. Take care, Ray, until we meet again….have a beer waiting for me when I get there! Hugs, Lisa Schoonover Herold
